Volunteers are essential to the success of Happy Cat. With over 150 cats in our care at any given time, we need volunteers to help clean the sanctuary, brush and feed the cats, and give them love and affection. If you are interested in volunteering, email us with a letter of interest and your resume with the following information:

Your contact information (address, phone, email);

Specific experience and length of time working with cats or other animals;

A list of non-profits, churches, or other organizations where you have volunteered, how long you volunteered there, and what you did;

Three professional references and their contact information;

Ways in which you would like to help Happy Cat as a volunteer (i.e. cleaning, feeding, brushing, fundraising, etc.)

Other ways you can help the cats:

Make a tax-deductible donation.

Hold a cat food drive at your school or church.

Make Happy Cat the philanthropy of your college club or Greek chapter.

Start a Change Drive to collect loose change from friends, family, coworkers and school mates to raise funds for Happy Cat.

Businesses can make tax-deductible, in-kind donations of cat food, white rice, wood shavings (for litter), straw (for bedding) lumber (for building shelters) and gift certificates for supplies.
